Core Beliefs
The following are our core beliefs based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry flows out of these biblical doctrines. Firmly rooted in scripture, the beliefs of Reclaim Life guide our decisions as a church and motivate us to reach others with the love of Jesus at all costs
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.
Humanity was created in God’s image and likeness to be kingdom ambassadors on the earth to present a kingdom culture as it is in Heaven.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s directives, they forfeited their authority to satan, and he became the god of this age. They lost their identity, purpose and potential for all mankind.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to worship God, proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and present a kingdom culture as it is in Heaven.
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God’s kingdom on earth.
Core Values
We’re passionate about who we are and what we believe. Check out our core values below!
Reclaim Life is full of real people with real struggles who are being radically changed by a real savior.
In order to reach this community with the gospel of Jesus, we cannot and will not think small. To see God move, we must take bold steps and embrace the ridiculous.
The significance of one is huge. One more person redeemed. One more person healed. One more life renewed. Every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God.
We expect lives to be changed, marriages to be restored, and addictions to be broken. We expect God to do the unexplainable because we truly believe that nothing is impossible for Him.
We live in a complex world. Simple is refreshing and effective. At Reclaim Life, we worship together, we walk together, we serve together we do life with each other. We can’t do everything, but what we are called to do, we will do.
Excellence and honor to our God define us. When we treat little things like they are big things, God will do big things like they are little things.
